Val recently narrated a ballet for the first time. Premiering Last Saturday, June 14th.
The ballet was based on and used direct narrative from the C.S. Lewis “Chronicles of Narnia” series. The “Chronicles of Narnia” ballet was performed by the “Expressions of Joy” ballet company and sanctioned by the C.S. Lewis Foundation as well as the remaining Lewis family.
The “Expressions of Joy” ballet company is located at 701 NE 2nd Street (Eller Street), Deerfield Beach Florida. Val was privileged enough to carry the narrative for the dancers for “The Chronicles of Narnia” ballet production under the direction of company leader Josie Geyer.
Josie directed the entire production and all the details involved for this Christian faith-based dance company’s incredible performance.
The voice narration was delivered in the character of “Professor Kirk” from the “Chronicles of Narnia” series. There is a sample you may listen to and/or download if you like at the top of the page.
Val certainly looks forward to participating in many more such productions as “The Chronicles of Narnia” ballet in the years to come.
